I have a 42 inch Husky Hydro with the ETS system. I love it. Need something smaller and hate my 21's. Want to buy something 32 or smaller. Prefer Husky again.

Why doesn't anyone make a quality 28-30 inch mower?

Don't ever remember seeing a Husky 32". Have you considered a used Metro. I see them pretty cheap. Not sure what to look for if you want it hydro.

I believe Husky cut back it's line up a few years ago. I thought there was a 32 Hydro before that.
I may have to go with gear. A 32 gear with ETS or Toro T-bars would probably work. How difficult is it backing up with a gear. I would assume you just change gears to reverse?

If you want a dual hydro, I think you have two choices. Wright or Better/Quick. The next most common would probably be a used 32 Exmark Viking, which has not been made for 5 or more years. Using reverse on a gear drive is slow. If you don't have too far to back up just clutch to neutral and pull back.

Thanks
I'll check them out. Sounds like the hydro for me. Using the 42 I have is effortless.

A bit of a drive, but may interest you.

Thanks for the heads up. It is a bit of a drive but winter is pretty quiet.
Going to look at Quick 32 Dually. Good price and Hydro. The 32 gear Husky is in my sights as well.
