Stander hydro betls

I have 2 48 standers both w/ over 500 hrs, but less than 750 hours. The one seems to eat a hydro belt about every 100 hours or so. I keep spares behind the seats of the trucks - and a bungee cord to keep idler pulley pulled out of way to make install easier, but I believe this is something that should only be done after every 300 or so hours.

Any suggestions?? Am looking into speed-up kit, but don't know if it will solve problem.
