23 Kohler throttle RPMs.

My new '02 Lazer's throttle doesn't start revving up untl about 3/4 of the way to WOT. And once wide open, it tachs at 3500 no load.

Do you all think the throttle is out of adjustment, or is this normal?

Alta,

The throttle throw is normal. It's the nature of the beast so to speek. It's the effect from the inefficiencies of a cable vs a solid linkage.

As far as your engine rpm's, your low. That unit should be set at 3600 witht he blades engaged but not cutting.

Have your dealer adjust the engine rpm's and you'll be in good shape.
