I quoted a lady at $35 a tree to properly prune her apple trees. Which mean to cut the crossed , crowded, dead, and diseased breaches out and away. Shesaid she got quotes in the 20-25 dollar range. She has eight to prune. Am I too high? What should I do. The trees are slightly overgrown but not too bad. Some help would be great I'm Stuck i want the job but feel it will take almost an hour a tree. I thought I was giving her a deal already?:hammerhead:

price sounds good, if she does not take it, oh well, you cant budge on your pricing if it is fair or you will under cut only yourself in the end. just make sure of your costs when developing your hourly rates etc.

Sounds ok.....just make sure you know what you are doing so its done properly. I usually bid those higher, I try to be at $75 per tree. I bid high cuz I dont want it......but if I do get the job I'm making good $.

Most importantly make sure you know what you are doing!
