So I have talked to a few people localy in landscaping that say lettering up your truck is well worth the money. So I started pricing do get my rear window done and I have to estimates so far one is $50 and the other is $65. Are those good prices for 1-2 color? And what do you think they should say?
Post your pics too if you don't mind so I can get some ideas and plus just to show off a little.

Why not get your tailgate done instead?

I agree, get the tailgate done. Back window looks cheesy IMO.
50-65 sounds pretty good for a tailgate. Get your company name/phone number and logo, if there is room you can put in a short bulleted list of services offered.

One of my favorite lettered up trucks is RedMax Mans Ford, his tailgate is real nice how he has it setup nice and clean and simple.
Here is some pic of his.

The tailgate on our '08 is very similar to Redmaxman's, as the oval is in the middle we went with logo/name/number on the left and a short list of services on the right.

so besides one guy saying it looks cheesy, what are the rest you saying no for?
I really was just doing the window because if I ever had to take it off there wouldn't be an outline on the window like there would be on paint, but ill consider the tailgate. but wouldn't it be harder to see when driving with a trailer?

Your not going to be able to see it all that good from the window while pulling the trailer any ways, I just think that the tailgate is cleaner looking over the window.

Because it looks cheesy and blocks your vision. What do I know, I'm arrogant right?

That's a valid concern, I guess it depends on the color of your vehicle and how long it sits in the sun. I would never do the window though.
Get a sign made up for the rear of your trailer gate:)

You could always repaint your tailgate if you hand to or just get some magnets.

I had a slider and had the passenger side done up with my logo and number, did it help? Not that Im aware of, but it does make the truck look more like a work truck and not every other joe blow. I am lettering my maroon trucks tailgate like said this season! Im thinking chrome? Any other suggestions for a maroon gate, already removed the emblems, so I have a clean slate!!

I did the back window picked up 3-4 yards the first month and get a call aboaut 1-2 times a week during mowing season from the window
Does it look cheesy IDK the customers called the number that was what I was after
I know if I had done it on the tailgate one customer wouldnt have seen it for the trailer
I would look into getting a sign for the back of your trailer
Ive got my name and phone number covering just about the whole window
I do know this
If they dont know how to get a hold of you they will find someone else

The law says you need your name and location, not smaller than 3 inch's, on both sides.
Just add your phone number and you are good to go !
Putting your name and location on your back window or tailgate does
not comply with the law.

I like the back window idea. You can put pretty much any logo on there and it'll look ok but there is nothing more chessy, IMO, then a bad tailgate logo. Plus like you said, the tailgate is more of a commitment.
