Also, are you a Certified Turfcare Professional (CTP)?

There is a fee to join. A fee for the CTP self study guide and a test to become a CTP. I am comsidering this and wonder if this would benefit my business. Any feedback? Thanks.

Took the CTP
I thought it was a good course. Good section on plant ID.
Also Fertilization, weeds, pests. The book is a great refference source.
Because it covers turf from all zones, it has been a great help talking with customers that come from different areas.
By understanding what practices/products they are used to, you give a better comparrison of what and why you do things different than what they are familiar with.

I think it was about $300--money well spent
