30 or 10W-30 in 23hp Kaw.

I've been running Mobil 1 10W-30 in my 23 Kaw eversince its break in period was over. I am just wondering if I am better off running straight 30 or if the 10W-30 is alright. Its on a Lazer Z HP 52".

I don't even know if Mobil makes a straight 30. The Mobil 1 is going to be great for the engine. Your not doing any harm to the engine and it is in my opinion better for your engine than any 30-weight petroleum oil will ever be. The stuff simply works. The more I learn about synthetic lubricants the more I like them. I will warn you however that to get the most out of the benefits of the synthetics you've got to take care of things like air filters and cooling fins.
