Hi All, I'm looking at both of these trucks...... Like the Ford, was a city truck, runs and drives great, very tight but a little on the plain side.... The GMC is a gasser, haven't drove it yet, looks like a nice truck but I kinda like that the Ford has the PSD and only 85,000 ORIGINAL Kilometers!! Any thoughts are appreciated!! (hope the links work....)
Thanks.

Go with the Ford its a better deal just make sure its not rusted out. The truck should have some service records on it if its a ex city truck.

Go with the PSD. I bought an old city truck ('95) Ford F-350 PSD and I sold it with 350,000 miles and it still rode like a champ. I plan on buying another 7.3 possibly a '99. I do like the '04 6.0L tho. But hands down on the PSD, with that many miles I still managed to get $5000 and it was rusted out.

Go with the Powerstroke, it's a much more capable truck, as long as the underneath is in good condition.

Both are overpriced , but the ford will last longer.

Don't forget the prices are in Canadian $..... what would these trucks go for in the US? Keep in mind that the mileage of the Ford is 52,000mi and the Sierra is 70,000mi.

I got a call back from the guy with the Sierra today and am going to see it on Wed.... I'd much rather have the Ford with the PSD, but the GM is a little less expensive and more comfortable for the family to pile into.... I'm a little torn here.... I won't be towing a ton of weight so I don't necessarily need the grunt of the diesel but man that diesel ran nice......
Appreciate the comments guys. :canadaflag:

The Ford with the PSD should give you 4x the miles (km's) as the gasser before major repairs and will have much better resale value as well. And it will have lots of room inside too. Plain is good in my book, less stuff to break!
