Gas going up over $3.00, bid accordingly.

Yeah, and it was also said last year gas was going back up to over $4 a gallon! Yet we never even went above $2.70. These are scare tactics.

I have been writing in a clause to my contracts for the past 2 years.
"Note: Surcharge of 1% will be charged for each dollar, in fuel costs, over $3.00 per gallon of gasoline."
Customers never question it and I am covered in case of a large fuel increase.:)

I assume you have your own gas pump? I am curious what kind of deal you get when you buy fuel in quantity? How many gallons do you buy at one time, if you do not mind me asking?

He might be buying but not actually taking possession of the fuel. I know I wouldn't want to try to stabilize 1,000 gallons of gas so it doesn't go sour.
