How many "Landscape" days a yr do you have

Curious to see the difference around the country. Operate out of the greater Cincinnati area. How many actual workable days do you have where it is not too wet, cold, snow on the ground, etc and off on Sundays.

I know it varies from year to year. I came up with a chart for a great yr compared to a poor year, a minimum and a maximum

On a poor weather year 135, a great year 225. Realistic number 175-185.

Now i know this doesn't include snow removal and other misc. jobs you might do during the off season, but if you look at it, you better make hay while you can.

Same here, I like to say about 200 but that's probably the maximum,
actual number of working days is closer to 1/2 year, out of Virginia.

I am going to keep track of the "landscapable" days this year. So far I am at 8 workable days this March.

these days not many, last year all the rain we got, its hard to say how many workable and productive days you can get any more, same thing with winter, the weather has just become to unpredictable

We don't get many days that are completely rained out a year. Maybe 20 at the most. We're already through our "rainy season" and there were only 8 rain days, including 1 on a Sunday. I'd say we easily have 250 workable days a year.

I am with Richard here in SC and I would think we work between 250 -- 275 days per year and most winters are dry but a little chilly but this year its been downright awful weather and cold and I am most looking forward to spring.
