Curious to see the difference around the country. Operate out of the greater Cincinnati area. How many actual workable days do you have where it is not too wet, cold, snow on the ground, etc and off on Sundays.
I know it varies from year to year. I came up with a chart for a great yr compared to a poor year, a minimum and a maximum
Jan 0 days 10 on a great jan
feb 0-10
mar5-15
apr 15-20
may 15-22
june 20-24
july 20-24
aug 15-20
sept 20-24
oct 15-20
nov10-20
dec 0-15
On a poor weather year 135, a great year 225. Realistic number 175-185.
Now i know this doesn't include snow removal and other misc. jobs you might do during the off season, but if you look at it, you better make hay while you can.
