I am selling my turfco F15b. I purchased this unit from a dealer out west about 4-5 years back. This was a floor model they had which was used to demo the units ability. When I purchased it, it looked brand new and for the most part it still does. It was never used commercially, just by me for my personal use. I would guess the unit has 25 - 35 hours maximum. The unit has no issues and spreads like a top!

I am selling it only because I just don't have the need for it anymore. My yard is the way I want it and it is taking up too much room in my garage that I need for other toys!

I am asking 3500 which is less than half what a new one would cost without tax or shipping. Last time I checked a new one would run almost 7300 "on sale" from turfco direct (list is around 9400!)

Pictures are available upon request.

Thanks!

edit - you can't post an email address at the site. thanks, Mike

how much material will it hold? looking to top dress 18 acres

jester757

If memory serves me correctly, it holds .33 yards - a bit more if you heap it some.

It could certainly do the job - as long as you don't have to load it with a shovel! That much material would kill your back.

Thanks

Hey. Sorry, I was out of the country for the last few days....

I would love to sell this package to ya - just can't do the shipping thing. I would be afraid the Turfco would have to be crated up or else it could get banged up. The bluebird would be that big of a deal as it can fit on a pallet no problem, but the Turfco is one big unit.

Any other suggestions on how we could make this work?

Chris - I will give you a call today.

Also - I have gotten several PMs about trades. Yes, I will consider trades. Up for most things... I am thinking about getting a nice zero turn mower to replace my JD HD45 - so if you have a LOW time, very clean zero turn mower please let me know. My HD45 only has 168 hours on it but I think I could save some serious time with a nice 54" zero turn:)

Yes available,
1500 and needs a $150 part and mechanic. Structure is sound, good belts no rust, etc. Engine still sound but orig and who know? with a new honda 5.5 and 150 part would be good as new and these are 7500 new. holds 1/3 yard built to spread sand on GC been around since 1964. if you want one I have one pics are on site.

what part is needed to fix that machine?

Barefoot James

Part # 654691 includes axles 2,5,6 &7 $213 plus turfco says when you take off the wheels they may need to be hammered out or lubed up really good for a few days the wheels item # 653265 are $74.25 each. The unit does not want to engage going into reverse all the time - tempormental. It will go into reverse but not all the time - frustrating!
But it is sound other wise Cheveron belt has not seems or cracks and it is not rusty and has been stored inside - it is from 1998. Jim Newton @ Turfco 800 679-8201 Ext 127 can explain things better than I - I'm not a mechanic but he says it is an easy fix for one who is.
