Priced a 950 with a 60 inch deck, no comfort and convenience package, a mulch kit and a three bag bagger for $13,600. Is this a good price??? Also dealer had a 960 on the floor, said i could have for the same price only the 960 has 34 horse instead of the 31 horsepower that the 950 has and the 960 has the comfort and convenience package too. I kinda dont want the comfort and convenience package....what do you guys think?

I ordered my z925 and was right at 11k. I think you are on target with the options. About the C&C, I had it on my 830 and hated it. I liked the controls, but the molded handles keep your hands on the top, where as I like to be on the slope part of the sticks. I went with the 925, since it is the 930 without the C&C. More I thought about it, it lifts fine with the foot assist, and didn't want another thing on it that would break!

yeah i already made up my mind that i really don't want that, plus the delay time from when you push the button to when the deck really goes up sometimes causes you to scalp when going over bumps....did you get yours yet???? how does it handle and how much fuel does it take in terms of gallons per hour?? thanks

Im still in the 30s here, but I have mine, its just sitting. My 830 drove nice and had the same engine on it, the 27 Kawasaki. II don't have any GPH figures, but was well under 2 gph. I think it would be around 1.2 gph when broken in. It was a good engine and deck combo, the 29 would be nice, but the 27 will do everything I need it to!!

I just finished up getting my final quote on my z925a (should be ready to order it in about 2 weeks) and I can get it for $12000 even, thats with the 54" MOD deck and 3 bag collection system. Nothing else is added to that price.

i think we'll be ordering monday because our dealer said we could still get the 0% financing
I would seriously look at the 997. Those larger gas engines suck the fuel. The money you save running a diesel will pay for itself in a couple of years. JMO

yeah we tried one out....liked it a lot and could've gotten at a good price but my dad decided it was too big and heavy and not enough trimming ability with the 60 inch deck :hammerhead:

The z925 is what you will be looking for. I can't wait to get on mine!
