View Full Version : Ultimate Leaf Trailer for sale

02-27-2010, 02:45 PM
We are selling our all in one leaf-utility dump trailer. The dimensions of the dump are 8' x 8' x 7'. The utility portion is 8' x 6.5'. It will carry a 52" and 36" Stander to allow using only 1 truck for the leaf clean-up operation. The loader is a 2008 Billy Goat Model TR 1304 H. The Honda engine will start anytime!! The trailer began life in 1995 as a utility type and was converted sometime after wards. It has a Rugby scissor 5 ton hoist that easily dumps a full load of leaves. It will not however dump 6 yards of mulch or 2 tons of gravel because of the positioning of the hoist. It will easily carry those amounts. The sides can be reduced to 3' to carry mulch, gravel and mowers. The side ramp is long and heavy and I install a spring assist to help with that process. It can also be removed and put in the back to help loading the mowers. There are 2 brand new tires and 2 that are 1 full season old, with an older spare. We are asking $6,000 for this trailer and are not looking to trade. We are just wanting to sell it so we can continue to move forward as a business. This is an excellent investment for a company looking to upgrade you leaf business. Call Trent at 816-350-0886 or 816-590-7859

Thanks our leaf business has grown so much we need to buy a 6 x 12 dump trailer and that will allow us to pursue more landscaping jobs. I will be sad to see it go. A lot of blood, sweat and tears has gone into it!!

Thanks for the post! I know it will sell. It just takes time and I will wait for the right buyer.
Grassman, 10-4 we are starting towards the end of this week if it drys out. We have a ton of landscaping jobs to do and bid. This has been a record Winter and start of the new year I am excited to see the the Lord has in store for us. The previous 2 Winters were pretty rough!! It nice to come out of the Winter not in the negative for a change. I will give you a ring.

I'm starting to think this isn't the place to sell stuff.
Nice idea for the trailer, good luck. Try craigslist.

Barely had it a month, and a cop decides to run a stop sign and smash into the trailer!

04-27-2010, 09:09 AM
Are you ok? How about the trailer? Did he give himself a ticket?

I'm fine. I wish I could say the same about the trailer. The impact offset the front section by about a foot. After the wreck, I drove the trailer around the corner to drop off at my storage facility. The front axle was bent, and one tire rubbed on the frame, started smoking, and blew out. It was a rookie cop. I would have hated to be in his boots that afternoon.

Boom .......

04-27-2010, 11:15 AM
Glad to hear you are ok, hope the police department will replace the trailer for you

04-27-2010, 07:14 PM
I do hope they replace it for you. I think you will have a hard time replacing the front axle. That trailer was built a number of years ago, but either way I hope it comes out good for you. On another note your old trailer is doing great for us. We are using it at least 3 days a week landscaping and mowing.

i've always wondered about cops in accidents. never seen one, i guess until now. i don't know the fault/no fault situation in you're state, but sounds like you might have whiplash! hahahaha
