I just purchased a used 2007 72" Bobcat soil conditioner that is missing a few of the carbide teeth/tips on the drum. I called the Bobcat dealer to check price and availability. I was told that they are part number 6676731 and cost $7.69 each. He did not have them in stock at his location but did show stock at another location.

I was wondering how you go about installing the replacements? Is it just the carbide insert that you replace somehow or is it the whole steel nub that you have to weld on to the drum?

Since it is only missing a few teeth at this time, I'm sure it won't effect it's operation much. Do most of you just run the machine with the missing carbides to the point that you replace the whole drum or what?
