My dealer is already callin me tryin to get me to order one. Not till they prove themselves. And give a 200k warranty . Walk into your local ford shop and see how many 6.4s are in the bays. My tech always has 3 at a time. Lots of DPFs going bad and Ford wont warranty them. If I had to buy a new truck right now it would be a gas or a duramax. Thats with a fleet of fords sitting here.

30K on the clock of my 09 6.4 and not one motor issue. just a faulty trailer harness.

and id give the 6.7 a year to prove itself as well.

I would love to be a beta tester.

But they would have to give it to me.

Ford is Standing behind them at my dealer. You must have a bad dealer. Ive talked to the 3 diesel techs recently, and they say the 6.4 is much more reliable then the 6.0 was at first. They say they dont see them all that often. No manu is going to give a 200k mile warranty.

I doubt ill ever buy a 6.7, nor will i buy a new D-max, or cummins. Im stickin with pre emission diesels. Especially 02-03 7.3's!

All I know is those 6.4 with the dpf deletes and Spartan tunes are INSANE. Almost makes me want to sell the Cummins:) haha who am I kidding.

If ford put a 7.3 in the '05-'07 body style and the '08 interior I would sell everything to buy it. lol
Agreed on the spartan tuned 6.4's!!!

My dealer is great. They are a high volume dealer that gets in alot more trucks than most . Most of these are work trucks that are hitting near 100k. Before I spend 60k on a ford ,I ll spend 85k for a used M2 that will make it more than one hundred thousand miles before it needs major motor repairs

That Spartan tuned 6.4 was tough. The tree huggers are gonna have a coronary over the black smoke though. Oh well!
