I really need help deciding what to buy. The toro is a 44" 2001 proline, dual hydro floating deck. 900 hours from a local dealer-comes with a sulky and bag kit-$2150.00. The Bunton is a 48" dual hydro walk behind, brand new, 0 hours for $2499. What would you guys do?

If your really pressed, go with new. At least you'll have a warranty. Make them throw in a sulky.

Bunton = Bobcat = good mower plus you would have a warranty. God only know how the previous owner of that toro maintained it.

A dual hydro wb for $2500?
That's $700 less than a new Quick 36 dual hydro...
I bet it's a belt drive for $2500.

Lol Top, If he is, he should get better bait. If the op is right on the price, go new if the dealer is a good one....around here that is the price for a belt drive unit.

Well golly I hear you, it's just such a no brainer... :p

Either that or I'm missing something, or someone made a mistake.
That Bunton is either low residential grade, or it's grossly miss-priced.
But to see a dealer making that kind of mistake, I guess anything's possible,
then again maybe someone miss-heard the quote?
Because the Bunton should be closer to 5499...?

Hmmm....
Having just typed that price something hit me...
A typo might be what it is, I just realized the 2 and the 5 are right there on the keypad, is that the deal?
Was that supposed to read 5499 instead of 2499?

Whichever it is, something ain't right because ain't no commercial grade 40+" dual hydro Wb that sells for 2500 new
going to be in stock for more than say 5 minutes, if it takes that long for someone to trip up over themselves on that.

It's all good, I'm sure I've left a few good ones on LS.
