Deck rake 1/4" or 1/2"?

would 1/4" or 1/2" deck rake/pitch be better on a commercial walkbehind? Scag 48 Advantage deck.

1/4" would be better than 1/2". I am at 1/8" on all my mowers (except for the Lawnboy [cant adjust that!]).

The rear skirt on a mower is what bends the grass and makes the stripe.

The higher you raise this rear deck skirt the less defined your stripes will be.

I get a better cut at 1/8" than I was at 1/4".

Everyone says either 1/8" to 1/4".....So just go with 3/16" and you'll be fine! BTW, 1/2" would be too much.
