Snapper wb 36 price good??

So I got a guy who wants $100.00 for a 36" snapper walkbehind with a blown motor...is this worth it, northern tool has a couple differnet motors all under $1000.00 so I could have a 36" for under a grand and do one of two things trade in my gravely 36" and get a bigger walkbehind or just get the snapper running for a grand and sell it for a little more and make some money...bit would it be worth it or no??

Depends on if the mower can handle new motor, when you do that you start breaking parts because of the switch to higher horse power. Plus you cant fire it up to see how good the tranny is.
