blue rock

i got a call from someone today and they want blue rock in the beds around their house, he says he saw it at a garden show but didnt get any info on it.i have checked with all our local suppiers and nobody has any idea were to get it. he says it is like a sky blue. any ideas?

Crushed blue granite is common here, but I am guessing that you are not talking about that.

no he said it was rock and it was between sky blue and water. he is dead set on this so i dont know

Just took a look at it and it looks like a pretty cool stone. Have you used it at all Kirk?

I'm curious about the fading and potential that the color will wash away over time.

Fading hasn't been as much a problem as when it gets dirty, it gets funky. it's more of something for a commercial application where your trying to get people's attention, rather than for a decorative application around a home.
