Question on mulching and weeding

I have a job that needs about 8 yds of mulch and the beds weeded. This is at a small shopping center. How should this be priced and is there something I can spray on the beds before I mulch to kill the weeds that are there to keep from pulling all of them? Thanks

spray the bed with round up if there isn't any plants around. or just make sure you don't spray the plants. if it has high weeds i would weed wack them down first, rake out the beds then spray. let the spray dry for a couple days and mulch over them. has always worked for me. price it depending on how long you think it will take. large open areas obviously mulch quicker than areas with a lot of stuff to go around

We always add 15% on materials and two guys should be able to spread 8 yds of mulch in an hour or two. I might add two guys another hour for weed pulling if thats what you gotta do.
