Hey there, gonna sell my quad cab for a regular cab. Looking to get another GM or Dodge. Comes with 8.2 V-XT and is loaded. It has 143,000 miles on it and runs great. 8.1 496 with the allison transmission. It just had brand new batteries (2), a fuel pump with sending unit. In the last 15k, fuel filter, brake pads, plugs and wires, and both differential fluid. Truck has roll-n-lock bed cover on it. Ask away with any other questions. Grey interior. The only pictures I have right now are in the Pictures section labeled "my truck!" Ill try to get some new pictures up this week! Thanks.

Thanks Jpeg! If it had two less doors and a long bed, It wouldn't be for sale!! It has its fair share of scratches and such, but no major body damage. It is a nice clean work truck. Its nice plowing with those heated seats!!

How do you like plowing with that blade? Have you had any problems with it? I have the same truck but just an 05. I am looking to start my own company and I have a ton of snow plowing already. I would like to get a v blade and it seems like boss has taken over fisher as far as well everything. I am just wondering how the truck handles the blade.... How much ballast weight do you have in the rear end when plowing. I wish I had the cash I would buy that and just plow with it and keep mine for personal use. But all well......Let me know what you think of the BOSS!

Hey there, truck and plow do a great job, run 400 lbs in back and nothing up front, it doesn't squat real bad and drives great, plow never hits ground while driving. as for the plow, not one bad thing, Ill own Boss and nothing else. It is full trip, which can be fun when your really tired and that sure wakes you up, but its not bad when you don't fly around. Overall, its worth the money, if I had big lots, the XT would shine with the tall ends, but with my small lots, the just seem to keep snow from ever going over the blade, haven't needed a rubber flap at all. Good luck with whatever you decide!!

He doesn't have another truck that you would be interested in. And I don't want to insult you with his offer. So I will keep your truck in mind if I know of somebody, because it seems like a really good deal. Good luck selling it.

Come check it out, its runs well and has the Allison. Good truck, just had all tune ups and fuel pump and module replaced. I guess the cost is a little higher than most due to the blade being almost like mew, it is a great truck and has only had that blade on two seasons, always washed and stored inside, it shows. I KBB'd it and it said right around 12k with no plow, so I figured someone would get a deal. Thanks!!

I know this is off topic but what kind of tires do you have on there?

rcslawncare
04-22-2010, 11:00 PM
The are Goodyear Authority AT's, I believe they are a Walmart only tire and have been good tires. I think I gave $130 a piece for them, but I had a friend put them on, I like my truck to work, so wally world does not get service work.

rcslawncare
04-22-2010, 11:04 PM
Back to the truck, $3500 looks to be the cost of the damage. I would be willing to sell the truck as is with plow or not. Everything will be considered. It will be fixed late next week if nothing pops up. I hope to have pictures up by the end of the weekend. Behind on some work because of it.

They are in the 245/75/16 size and are small for a aggressive tire, but they would not sell any tire bigger since they had the code on the door... Something about it being a liability. But they have been good and do great in the snow and mud. My next tire will be a Toyo AT though, a little too aggressive for me doing so much driving.

So, its only $3300 to fix, Ill sell the truck as is for $7000 with out plow or $9000 with plow. Goes in the 3rd to be fixed, so talk to me before then if interesting in fixing yourself or got a body man that will do it cheap. Ill get pics up by the end of the weekend.

Here are some pics of the damage. Step tube brackets look bad as the bolts got bent. Will be taking those off this week. It can be sold as is for the prices listed above. Now the price is good for a back up plow truck with the 496 and the Allison.
