Or now known as "John Deere Landscapes" Was introduced to Razor burn and it worked great but was about $2.00 a gallon once mixed with water. I ask them if they had a less expensive non-selective herbicide and the guy recommended the prosecutor. It was the same price as Razorburn but cost about $.44 a gallon to spray. I was told that I will get the same end result just wont be as fast as Razorburn was.

I need to spray two apartment complexes but dont want to waste my time if this stuff is garbage. Any input?

Yeah, I've used it several times. It's just glyphosate. 41%, I believe. The Razorburn is the same thing, but just has some diquat mixed in, if I'm not mistaken.

Is scythe still on the market?

I still have some that I bought years ago. Mix this with the round-up, err, prosecutor and you get some quick knockdown with the gly coming on in a few days depending upon temps.

Use the prosecutor, it may not be as fast, but it is a bajillion times safer. Look at the PPE required for diquat products, and google the long term potential side effects of diquat exposure, chronic neurological problems, lung damage, cancer... nasty stuff.
As far as I am concerned, people can wait an extra day or two for their weeds to die, a fast knock down is not worth my health or theirs.

Yes, this is true. This is why diquat - alone, is a RUP here in Michigan. It actually takes an aquatic license to obtain it.
