Tonight I made a stripe kit for my Super Z. Here are the parts I used to complete it.

3' Slotted angle cut to 26.5"
22 3/8 x 1" carrage bolts
22 3/8 hex lock nuts
22 fender washers
20 1/4" chains cut to appx. 8.5" (8 links)

I plan on making the chains go out a little further as soon as I figure out how to get the bracket strong enough. The chains are 1-1.5" away from the rear tires when fully extended, so getting ran over by the tires should not be a problem. I also had to bend the "L" bracket down a little to clear some parts under the mower.

That looks good. Do those rear castor wheels swivel? If not, looks like you could rig up a roller for it. I've been running chains through my mind ever since Eric posted pics of those on his chopper. I've also been thinking about a roller since I bought the book Picture Perfect. Let's see some cuts with those chains in place. Btw--We got some good rains last night, You too?
