2006 Ferris Dual Drive walk behind.

48" wide, 17 hp Kawasaki.

Non-electric start, about 400 hours.

$2699 / bo.

I'd like someone to pick it up, but if you're somewhat close something could be worked out.

edit - you can't post an email address at the site. thanks, Mike

Wish you were closer!!

Tomorrow I will get some pics and put on here.

If you're interested, for diesel money I would meet 1/2 way.

St. Louis that is, not really New England.

FWIW, I do have a couple of friends that drive over the road. If someone too far away wants it, there could be a way to ship it as well.

For the ones asking for pics. It will be in good shape. He keeps everything in an enclosed trailer so little sun fading, no rain, or no snow. His dealer maintains most his stuff so it should be good to go. I know he uses Amsoil in his riders, he may on this also. Until last year he was solo so it wasn't abused by employee's either. If I had not bought a W/B last year this I would have bought.

Sorry guys, the pics will not be today.

My parents called this morning and their kitchen sink faucet blew up last night, so I've spent the morning fixing that and a couple of other things at their house.

Now the wife has to run to Kohl's and the 8 year old has a couple of b-day parties he has to buy presents for, so it looks like an afternoon of shopping.

I'll for sure get some on Sunday.

Everything is going well, got all the important contracts renewed for multiple years this year, although we had to do some negotiating on them.

The ONLY reason I'm selling this, well 2 actually....

1) I'm going at it 1 guy less this year, so that means more labor myself, but hopefully more money in my pocket. Instead of walking so much as with this Ferris, I'm going to be getting an '09 Grandstand from the big Toro distributor here with all of the '10 updates done to it.

2) For those that have been in business long enough and operate their business a certain way, the tax value ran out on this machine 3 years ago now, so I'm trying to recoup some of that stuff as well, as I'm running out on depreciation on alot of my equipment.

More pictures......

If the price is right, I would be willing to split delivery costs as well.

There is a plug in the right tire, but when I pulled it out of the trailer today, the tire was still at the same pressure it was last fall.

Also, as you can see from the picture from the back, we did have to replace the starter rope one time.

All in all, as I said in my previous post, the MAIN reason I'm selling it is I've made an agreement to buy a Grandstand and I don't need this unit anymore.

I'm 38 and don't want to walk as much as I have in the past.

I could put a sulky / proslide / velke on this machine (had a proslide at one time) but the local distributor for Toro has been trying to get me back to Toro for years (currently run Kubota on the ZTRs) and they've made me a deal I can't pass on the Grandstand.

I keep forgetting you can't edit "For sale" items.

The secondary reason is for tax purposes. I need to keep SOME of my own money.

I also have (2) new sets of blades that will go with the machine as well.

No one is even slightly interested?

I have a Grandstand on the way, I need this mower moved before the wife sees the two sitting side by side.

I figure if I replace 1 red mower with another, I can get away with it.

Great deal, perfect time of year, wish I was closer and needed it. Have you tried Craigslist or your local newspaper classifieds?

Yes, it's on Craigslist for a couple of different cities. It's also on eBay.

If no one speaks up before tomorrow, it's going to a large turf auction here in Minnesota, with a reserve of $2,000.

If you want to make an offer of $2,000 so I don't have to take a day to haul it down to the auction, it's yours.

There will be more pictures and possibly a video shortly.

Sad, if it was an exmark or scag it probly would have sold by now. People just don't know the quality of the older style ferris. If you where near by i'd work something out. Ferris hold hills real good and rarely do they ever make a divit in the lawn. Even in wet grass. The cut is right behind exmarks cut in my opinion.

Yep, around here nobody serious uses anything but ferris wb's. Cant say the same thing for their riders but the walk behinds are definately top notch.
