Encore Spindle Update

I found the bottom bearing,side facing inside of spindle full of rust and dirt.I got two ideas to help the bearings,drill a hole in the spindle and install a grease fitting,and take the shield off the top of the bearing or pack the inside with high temp. grease so condensation or dirt won't get inside the bearing.

yes, do it. I like things greasable. don't forget to replace both bearings when you open it up.
