cheap "brain" head on tbc600

just purchased new tbc600 brush cutter...came with the "brain" auto feed head...been using it now a week and hasn't worked right yet!!!! i prefer a tap-n-go head myself...have written tanaka and asked for replacement head...#746451..6 iinch tap-go head...actually cheaper than the brain...MUST HAVE BEEN REAL BRAIN WHO DESIGNED THIS THING...GEE BRAIN WHAT WE GONNA DO TONIGHT...SAME THING WE DO EVERY NIGHT PINKY...CONQUER THE WORLD!!!...LOL HOPE THEY WILL IT'S A GOOD WEED EATER...JUST CRAPPY HEAD!!

Don't know which Brain you have. I do agree I never liked it either, but I never ran one on a Tanaka so you might be able to get it to work.

Check the book. I have only ever messed with one but there were different settings inside to control how it feeds.
