1998 Chevy 2500 4x4 with v8 vortec engine, automatic tranny with 71k original miles. Motor was replaced 30 to 40k miles ago with crate motor by original owner. Manual window/locks, rubber mat, a/c, radio, BF Goodrick AT radials @ 90%. New power steering box. Has MD State Inspection Certificate. Has been a good truck, but took off plow frame up front and found frame horn area is rusted and needs patching (pic doesn't show with front bumper, but will go with truck...left it off so buyer can see area well). Will sell with or without complete 8' plow setup (asking $2000 for complete plow setup). Call 443-277-3432

why was the motor replaced ? I have 300 k on mine still going great

I just asked him and he doesn't know why. Was out of warranty when it happened.

It's currently in my shop on the lift and he's got me patching the frame because his brother-in-law wants the truck to start his landscaping biz. He'll have to keep a close eye on the area and keep plenty of grease smeared on it so it won't rust out again. Plow frame was to blame....inspection guys would not have passed it if frame was off before inspection.

It's back up for sale and repaired nicely. His brother in law is going to hold off for another year before he quits with Uncle Sam to start his biz.
