Most Hours on Kawasaki Motor

What is the most number of hours you have put on an air-cooled Kawasaki motor 19hp or larger before it needed rebuilding?

I have 1875 on my 23 kawi and it still runs like a champ!

I have one i have only put 600 on but never done a thing to it. I have seen them at my dealer with well over 2000 and just getting thier routine maintenace. I really Like Kawi

I have 1965hrs. on my 25hp on a ferris 3000z. still runs great. Just plugs, oil and filter changes.

mine has 638 but my friend has the same motor with over 2500 on it. its a 14 HP tho not a 19

I had a FH430V with 550 hours on it and it crapped out and locked up. Fluky thing, Upper bearing on the crankshaft, thus allowing the flywheel to drop into the stator and lock it up. Replaced it with another kawi tho.

have 48 at day job 1800+ hrs, 36 with 2500+, 60 with 1078 all kawis all still running..oh yeah all exmarks!!

I loved the 23 kaw's. I had one blow up around 1800 hours. I still say it has more power than the 23 kohlers.

ok, 3400 hours is crazy!!! that's really getting your moneys worth. I have a 26LC with just under 950 now, trying to maintain it to death...I'd love to come close to that 3400hrs. it's hard for me to even think about buying anything but a kawi.

i just bout a gravely z with the 24 hp kawi...are you guys running the kawi oil? and how bout change intervals? kawi has a program you run their oil and they double the warrenty my warrenty is 3 years...thus i get six sounds good to me...what ya think?

19hp with 3423 hours, it has paid for it's self I would say.

i have a 15kawi with 600hrs a 23 with 950hrs and a 27liquid cooled with 2500hrs. never had any major issues. never had a kohler. i was told that a guy had a friend with the liquid cooled and it went 5000hrs ?

my kaw liq cooled on my tiger failed at 1900 hours...i will never own another

I have mostly Kawasaki engines on my equipment with some Kohler and Griggs also, they just have a few hundred hours !! However, generally speaking, the Kawasaki engines seem to be good for about 2,500 to 3,000 hours on average ... assuming that you keep them well maintained. However, some will have a shorter life and some will have a longer life.

1450 hrs on the 21hp KAW----I'm gonna try to keep it running till theres nothin' left holdin' it together but the hay baleing twine and rubber bands!!!

23hp kaw, Turf tracer - 1200hrs
23hp kaw, Turf tracer - 1600hrs
23hp kaw, Turf tracer - 2600hrs
27hp kaw lc Lazer - 2200hrs
None have been rebuilt, just general maintenance. All are still used daily.
