Have a 2007 hustler z with a 25 hp kawi and it started sputtering last year now it wont start. it turns over but no fire. changed plugs and getting fire to the flywheel. don't use ethenal gas, so that can't be the problem. any suggestions?

You have fire to the flywheel? are you getting spark at the spark plugs?
If so then are you getting fuel? are they wet? dry?
There are so many possibilities here.
Let me know.

yeah have spark at the spark plug. don't know if wet or dry but i do smell fuel after trying to start for a while. can the flywheel jump time? we replaced one solenoid after pulling plug while running and it still ran the same, pulled the other plug wire and it died. thanks for any info. this all happend a month after warranty was out.

We need to know if the plugs are wet from fuel.
The flywheel cant jump time unless it shears the flywheel key, and thats not very likely.
Replaced a solenoid? you mean ignition coil?

If the plugs aren't wet then you likely have a fuel related issue.
Check your fuel filters, fuel solenoid, carburetor... etc...

The Fuel solenoid is what holds the fuel bowl on, it closes the main jet off when you turn your key to the off position.
If it is failing it is not opening when you turn your key on, thus not allowing fuel to get into the main jet and the mower will not run.
You have to test the wire that plugs into it, if it has 12 volts when you turn the key to the on position then the power is ok and the solenoid may be bad, you have to remove it and test it.
