Hey guys I just picked up a new truck to pull my trailers and its something a little nicer for me to drive everyday. Its a 2004 gmc sierra 2500hd 4x4 duramax/allison with 135000 miles on it. It has a 6 inch lift with 36 15.50 mickey thompson mtzs on 20 inch chrome rev wheels. Tell me what you think!

Ok flairland this is actually like my 1st time posting pictures so no and the truck is mind I bought it so yea... And they are 20x10 rev wheels and are rated for a 2500 so they have proper weight ratings to pull a trailer. And ill have to xheck out the forum. Thanks guys!!

Ive been saving for quite sometime and the truck was a good deal. My part time job is working at a truck accessories shop so we really transformed it their. I bought it with 4 bald tires and no hub caps haha. We did the lift rims and tires and wala! new truck! but the inside of the truck was maintained very well so i didnt have to do anything to it.

Get some ladder bars on the rear end of that thing if you're going to be towing stuff, otherwise you'll wrap the axel up and eat u-joints constantly.

TandM

Ladder bars will be in the works if it starts bad axle wrap so far so good! But ill probably do some anyway. And I'm actually 17 I just haven't changed my sig. But I started buying trucks when I was 15 for my business so I've had a f150 and a f250 and neither of them were good so I sold them. I've had a tundra a 1500 chevy. I just like goin through trucks. I guess haha!!

It looks nice, but i have my doubts as how well it's going to hold up for work. Yes it has the duramax/Allison, but with all that stress from the lift and bigger tires, you have a definite power loss. You may want to make sure all of the fluids, tranny, front/rear diff, t-case, coolant, all of it and make sure it's all ready to go. Also, it's gonna be a big pain in the a$$ to get in and out of the bed for tools and materials. And you're gonna need a big drop receiver to keep the trailer level. But you'll probably own it for only the next few months anyways given your current track record with trucks.

It does slow the truck down a bit obviously but its not really as much as i thought. its not very noticeable at all. Yea im changing the diff fluid this weakend and ive noticed its actually not bad putting tools in the bed. its probably about one foot higher than it was before we lifted it.

I can almost smell the BS through the computer screen.

There used to be another kid on here named CATMAN. He was about the same age from PA. Kept talking about how he had an 01' Dodge and was selling it for an 04' Dodge, then sold the 04' 3 days later for an 06' Chevy. Then went on to try to trade the Chevy a few days later for a Powerstroke. Needless to say, eventually his lie was figured out. He ended up doing the same thing on Tractorbynet.com. Said he had a JD 425 garden tractor, then said he sold it for a JD 2320 w/ attachments...then went to the Cub Cadet forums and said he just bought a new riding mower...then a few days later went to the Case forums and said he traded the JD that he bought 5 days ago for the Case and didn't lose any money on the trade. Needless to say I saw through his BS and caught him in his act. Funny thing is, about 6 months later he came back to TBN with a different screen name in all capital letters like his last one, and with the way he talked about trucks and what not, it was easy to tell that it was the same kid.

I have no use for liars, and I'm not saying you are, but like another guy said..."the BS is starting to smell through the computer screen".

Just when I think my truck is over the edge for a work truck, this one takes the cake. Here is a more practical work truck for a 17 year old...

ok I started saving when I was 10. I never spent a penny and then bought a decent truck. flipped it sold it for more. did that a few times and got more and more money. plus money from work. The mower my dad financed and i paid the payment each month in cash to him. I was doing like 20 yards a week when i was 14 years old. I worked my butt off and just never spent. I bussed tables for 2 years from 14 to 16 almost every night during the summers and 3 nights a week on school weeks. I also worked with my fathers road work construction company whenever I had time. Thats how.
