Thatching vs Mowing vs Aerating

Hey guys and galls,

I am looking for help pricing my "additional" services, what do you do for aerating(sp) and thatching as a percentage of mowing and trimming. After two years I have finally gotten my mowing rates figured out but the variables in the other services are still hard for me to cover with out overdoing it.

Any help will be appreciated.

For dethatching, I usually charge about 4 times the weekly mowing price if I can use my big mowers, much more if I have to use push mowers.

and i thought dethatching was done with either a hand rake, a rake attachment to a ztr or a power rake. i didn't know you used push mowers for the job......

I think he might have meant a push dethatcher.
