Hey guys, been a while since I have been on here. Been hibernating for the winter. I need to know what you guys are paying for 1 61" deck, 29 HP Kawasaki Turf Tiger. Went into Mayo's today and they had them for $12599 and wouldn't come off the price at all. Called around a few places and same thing. Seems a little high to me. I am mowing 14 acres that is mostly wide open for a neignbor starting this year and I have looked at everything and set on the TT. Just sold my 08 Snapper Pro S150x with 52 hours for $4,900. Would use it for 7 other yards a week also that are quite large. Want the liquid cooled and DFI since I will be going at it for 5 hrs. straight on this one yard.

I was just curious what you guys are paying around here?

Try this dealer. I'm currently talking with them about a Scag. They will definitely have to order a TT, but may work with you on the price and cheaper taxes too! About 1 hour and 15 minutes from the merchants road exit on I-75.

Also try Blount Lawn Center in Maryville, 865-983-6121. I purchased a TT 61/35 from them in Feb. VERY good people to deal with. I thought I wanted the LC 29, price on the 35 is quite a bit cheaper, and the motor has unreal power. Good luck.

I think they are a bunch of jokes, I used to think highly of mayo, but now I just don't really care for them at all.

People at Mayo for sure think they are the cats meow. They are pretty cocky, but I just happen to be in the area for lunch. Thanks for all the replies guys, I am going to call those #'s first thing tomorrow morning!

When I was in the market for a mower I went to Mayo's. I walked out the door in 5 minutes. Stupid prices. Scags are not worth there weight in gold. So I bought the Kubota and have never looked back.

Did you buy through East Tennessee Equipment?

If not, where?

Ya beat me to it Mike, at one point the 35/61 TT was goin for 9199 and after that, back up to 9699, been in there to visit, seem to be great people....the only bad thing about going with Badboy is that dealer is over in NC, Boones Creek is down the highway so to speak, and they only service what they sell, If'n I not mistaken...havent pulled the pin one yet but end of April is lookin real good...Are ya cuttin hard yet Mike?? be safe ya'll........

All right here is an update. Went into Blount Lawn & Garden and was quoted $12,699 cash price, and $12,899 if you finance for the Turf Tiger. I will say that they were at least really nice and acted like they wanted the business. Didn't push too much, but he was pretty firm on that price. I am either going to have to pay it or John Deere it is for me.

That's comparing apples to oranges. A 930 has nothing on a TT. Wait, it has a 60in deck and a 29 kawl but that's about as far as it goes.

Don't want to say too much without his permission, but Boone's Creek blows anything close to this area out of the water!!! Not to far to drive, so when the time comes shortly I am making the trip to Boone's Creek. Same mower, same everything.

You can make an argument to buy local, but why pay a lot more when they don't even service what they sell anyways unless you buy like 10 mowers at a time?

That seems really steep to me, have you check out any other mower brands? I have always been satisfied with Commercial Cutting Equipment, they sell Exmark and Hustler and I have always gotten pretty good service with them.
