I hate stepping in dog ****! I have one customer that will not pick up after the dog. After this lawn is done, I smell like ****, mower smells, trailer smells, inside of truck, etc.. I need some ideas on how to let this customer know I am fed up without a face to face, What would you do?

Ask to use her bathroom when you are done the lawn and track it in the house. Then on your way out say "Oops, sorry, the dog doo usually comes off in my truck, trailer and house"

Great Idea Scott, This week I went around the piles of doo and left a 1 foot ring of unmowed grass. It doesn't look the best, but my shoes don't stink.

Let the dog logs FLY!! After you are done hose everything off in THEIR yard, right back were you found it.

We call them land mines. One of my costumers has great danes and you could spin a tire in on of those piles. I guess it just comes with the job.

when i'm doing my site inspection to bid, one thing on list is that i check for dogs on the lawn, if they havent cleaned up for me to bid i'll guess they won't for me to work. just pass on the work. leave the lawn for the guys it doesnt bother. I just wont deal with it

Put it in a paper bag, write "Return to Sender" on it and leave it on the door step. You may lose the job but you got your point across. I don't like people that don't clean up either. I have one that leaves her bloody kids toys all over the yard. I have just missed hoses as well where they leave them stretched across the yard

God I hate dog S#$T. One of our residential customers has no dog of his own. His neighbor on the other hand has "Ace" a rather large Weimraner. Needless to say the yard on that side has numerous large piles.
The thing I can't figure out is the neighbors kids play on this side with a hose and trikes etc. Do their kids smell like it or do they magically miss it? Or does their whole house smell like it?
When I mow I just make sure that if I run through a pile I run all over the drive so some comes off, and dries or they drive through it and park in their garage. I have a dog, but I take the time to clean up after her!!!

As far as toys and other stuff in the grass, as long as it won't hurt my Walker it will get mulched up. Toys, branches, dog poo. I have had people get highly PISSED about me mowing over toys. I told them that they KNOW the day I mow. Pick up the **** because I take no responsibility for their stuff left in the lawn. That usually takes care of the problem.
I hate the dog poo in the yard as well. But I have way bigger worries in my life than the dog ****.
