I did a search on lawnsite.com cuz I know this came up before, but could not find anything.

Thinking about getting some of these so we don't have to strap on a 4 gallon backpack at every lawn.
(probably one or two quart capacity "hand-held" that doesn't shell out quickly)

Where can I find them? Can anybody help me out? rscvp, thanks :usflag:

Rural King has them. There 1-2 and 3 gallon sprayers work good and last. They are made by chaplin, and are a good price. I spray paint them silver metallic for looks.
I think Rural King is a great store. I buy Crossroads for 37 per gal. when on sale,(same as Chaser Ester). Just alot of good deals there.

Been searching. Looking hard at Hudson #62517 (battery powered hand held w/ 36 oz capacity). It's NEW, so there are no reviews. 'Northern Tool' sells 'em here for $10, so that concerns me -- yet they come with a one year warranty. I plan to buy one this week & check it out before buying something else. I've never been afraid of trying new stuff, but still looking for more feedback. Thanks.

Larry,
I use a solo 454 1.5 gal pump sprayer for specialty mixes, when I don't want to use a backpack. They run 40.00 each.

Thanks. I'm also looking at Solo 418-L. (1.5 qt capacity). Unit weighs 3 pounds + product.

Thanks bud -- I'll check into that as well, but one gallon of weed killer plus the weight of the hand held spot sprayer might equal about 10 lbs total weight. This is a concern I have, cuz ten pounds is alot of weight to hold on one hand.

These are my favorite. One quart water and one ounce herbicide. Works swell, cost about $7.00.

Thanks all for your feedback. I went to our local 'Sprayer Specialties Company' today to see what they might have "in stock", but after waiting 20 minutes for help, I left. They were busy serving farmers who have more time on their hands than I. Might go online & order 8 Solo hand-held sprayers. 1st Ebay, then other sites, we'll see.

Thanks again for all your advice.

Just ordered 8 "Solo" hand-held sprayers from Northern Tool in Mpls. (our local Northern Tool store did not have any in stock). Model 418-1 (one liter). They'll ship right away. Customer reviews showed all five stars, but we'll see. Thanks again, Larry
