what do you edge the beds with if you dont have a bed edger im getting mulch jobs but dont have a bed edger pics of what u use if you have them...

I cut the edge with a stick edger, then use a shovel to remove the back side. Sometimes an old half-moon edger seems easiest for small jobs.

Today we cut the edge with a stick edger, then ripped up the edge-grass with a stirrup hoe (hula hoe), and just raked out the crap. It was pretty fast! We use a stirrup hoe for weeding, too. Then we run the blower to clean up the lawn before we mulch.
