I guess the average size would be 4-6'' long by 4'' high by 3''-4'' wide?? I'm playing the guessing game again. I need to go the the yard and measure some stones! How many sq. ft. per ton for single layer river rock creek bed would you guys estimate?

there are literally hundreds of calculators out there to help estimate...Chances are you stone center will have one as well...or at the very least will be able to help you figure it out as well..
but 10' long 5' wide 6" deep is 1.5 tons....

i usually figure stream beds like medium stack rock and thats about 40 sq. ft a ton. But dont take it from me just finished a patio today and had to scramble to find about 800 more pounds of flag luckly i had some left over from the last job. At least it was already paid for.
