clover & blue flowers

Went on an estimate today and 90% of the yard is covered in clover and tiny blue flower weeds. came across the clover before but not the tiny blue flower weeds. any idea of what the little blue weed flowers are? I plan on tilling the area and laying new sod, would compost combat the problem?
