pco in florida ?????

I ran across some one spraying fert today he had a pco lic.but it was under adiffrent name then his biz he said they use a diffrent companys lic. and they are lic.under them is this ok.

As long as all requirements are meant then it is legal. The Spray tech must apply pesticides for the company only and not bill the customer direct.

Most of these type of deals are in Fact a Rent A License and the state tries very hard at busting these. However Fudging paper work etc allow people to break the law and get away with it.

The person was very nice. He was using all the saftey eq. and said he only sprays fert. but when I was talking to him he said the person takes a percent out of each job he does. I asked him about billing he said that is part of his reg. maint. He looked like he knew what he was doing. thanks for the reply

That sure sounds like a Rent A License to me. But if the paper work is straight then the State can't stop it. But at least the guy is doing his best to be somewhat legal.

Some Unlicensed Guys will keep breaking the law no matter what. The State doesn't even attempt to go after unlicensed guys any more IMHO. But the Ag Inspector has the name address and phone number of every Licensed guy and will go after them any time he needs to fill his quota.

Thanks the guy was real nice answered all my questions even told me to let him know if he was doing anything wrong seemed like he was trying harder then someother guys I see out their thanks for the help
