I am trying to figure what size trailer to buy to replace my 14 ft trailer. It carries all I have now OK. I anticipate purchasing another commercial mower, similar to a 61 inch Scag. I carry two push mowers, 2 blowers, 2 trimmers, 1 edger and 1 hedge trimmer. Lots of hand tools.

What size trailer are you using to haul the above list with two commercial ZTR's? instead of one?

Thank You

16 ft with 4 ft sides, extra security when u are out, dual axles, bulldog hitch.

7x16. mine was custom made with a ramp gate built to hold a small tractor or skid steer. I can put two 36" wb's side by side and a ztr behind them and still have 4 ft of space behind it.

I can barely squeeze 2 60" Toro Diesels on my 14'. I have to put the roll bars up so they don't hit the gate.

Currently using a 14ft Big Tex single axle for my 61" Scag Turf Tiger and 48" Exmark WB. With the collection system and thatcher attached to the scag I have very little room for anything else but once mowing season starts and I take both those attachments off its fine. Weight wise I'm definitely pushing the limits with the single axle and I can see it in how my tires are beginning to wear. Looking for a 16ft open or a 16-18ft enclosed with a extended tongue.

just bought a 20' with 4' sides with box on front and 3 place trimmer rack. spring assisted gate assist is a great addition. it is a load trail and i love it. daily i haul push mower, walker 48" ghs, hustler 60" super z and hustler Z, two trimmers, edger two blowers, gas cans, hand tools, etc. it is great i have everything i need on one trailer. i have also hauled my john deere 2520 compact tractor and super z at the same time. in the past i have used two different vehicles and one trailer to haul my equipment. this is so much better and so organized. my banker tried to get me to do this three years ago and of course i "knew" what i wanted, boy was i wrong.

Kinda new to the site but I have a 16x4.5 trailer with side walls. I have one rack for trimmers, one for blower, and carry a 48, 50, and 52 inch mower at a time. I also drive a SUV so I have extra room in the back to throw stuff in. It really depends on how much more stuff you plan on carrying. Is there a reason you would need more than 3 mowers? If so I would go with a 18 or more.

I am always bouncing between a light 12 footer for fuel economy and a old heavy 16 footer for room. I just bought a new 16 footer that is lighter than my old one. I hope it will be the best of both worlds. Try to buy a dual axel trailer with brakes. 16foot trailers seem to have enough room for two ztrs, a 21 inch push mower. a wheelbarrow and all my other assorted junk goes in a basket on the front of the trailer. a 20 foot trailer is just to big for most days, I would stay around 16ft.

I just bought a 7 x 16 this year and now wish I would have gone to an 18'. Everything fits but it is tight.
