Come out to sunny California. We got more lawns than you can shake a stick at. :D

Yeah, and way too many lawn care companies too I bet? And I cant really afford $3000. for a studio apartment!! But on the other hand, I bet you all get alot more per yard than we do! I would love to live in southern CA, but I would end up spending all my days on the beach instead of working!

Ive seen a few guys out mowing in the rain though here and there, and always wondered how they were doing it without throwing clumps everywhere, they even had plates blocking the discharge chute and it was mowing great!! It was a full size TT, my TT wont do that, it would clump up in a heartbeat? They know something I dont obviously?

I really hate when it rains on a friday and saturday, because many people like to have their lawns done for the weekend, so then its either do it on sunday if its done raining by then or wait til monday, or let it go until next friday, which would really suck! But theres not much you can do if its soaking wet? Im sure the customers understand that, and that it will take a little while to get them back on the end of the week schedule.

MikeKle,

Just head out to Newport on the Levee and enjoy the rain. We needed it severely. It just means more money. Enjoy your weekend because we'll be busy next week.

All part of the lawn care business. Cycles of rain and no rain and then there is drought. You don't have grass growing if it never rains! Well, without irrigation that is.

We mow right through the rain. But we bag all our lawns...Wouldnt do it any other way any more.
