Thank you echo for the eight dollar and fourty cent air filter that measures about 2"x2". Prob cost at least one dollar to actually make. Why did I not plan better and order some aftermarket stuff?

Isn't it just a piece of foam? I cut my own out of foam for my 2 stroke stuff.

Sounds like a good idea, does this keep the engine as clean as a "real" air filter?

i think they are cheaper at home depot, if its the same filter I am thinking about. Is it the one that fits the old SRM 210 and their handheld blower? If I remember right, they were around $3.50 back when I had the echo.

I would hope so. Any motorcycle atv shop has what I'm talking about. Think of where those things go.

Some of those Echo air filters look like a thin, fine mesh plastic screen.

put on an after market air filter and you could make your machine non epa compliant. If they catch you they can get you for up to 3500 per day.

Better than a $450 wheel bearing....

Than I better not tell anyone that I took out the metal screen spark arrester. Oh, damn.
