Generac just turned loose a new powerplant that the Super Z would just LOVE! This thing has all the right specs, Check these out ; 1000 cc, 8.6:1 comp ratio, a 3 stage air induction unit, 2 1/2 quart oil cap. with a new Pulse fuel pump feeding a carb. and a ForceAir oil cooler. This bad boy will spool up to around 4200 rpm and be able to sustain it. weighing in at only 99 lbs. ( no compaction!) This 31 hp Generac is the biggest industrial V twin you can get.
we ALL know if Excel would wedge one of these little numbers into a Super Z it wold break 20 mph. They ain't called Hustlers for nothing!

This would be the perfect ZRT mower.

This is a engine we looked at a year ago almost........

Our main issue was parts and service availability.

How many authorized Generac Engine parts and service dealers are there around your area ?
Just something to think about.........

I was just currious to see if you have heard about all of the problems that generac is having? I do know of a manufacture who has pulled this engine from there machine for various problems including the parts and service availabilty. Do you guys have any input?
