Hello,
I used to work in the lawn care business, applying fert and weed control. My company went to Lesco to pick up its products. Anyways, I remember only licensed applicators could pick up these items. I was working on getting a license at the time but never went through with it (got out of the business).
Anyhoo, I am now just joe homeowner who wants a good "weed and feed" for my own lawn. My question is: Is there a license just for private applicators so that I can use the restricted-use stuff? Or do I NEED to be in the commercial biz to use that stuff. If such a certification program exists for private purposes, if someone could please point me to a webpage to get me started, whether on the federal or state (ohio) level.
Thanks!
