Every once in a while we get to work on a easy slope like this one. It's a bit less than 1-1 and we did need a track loader to climb it, it really slid down it but was able to climb the turfed area as long as it had a running start.

Looks like you're in the middle of nowhere.

Forgot to ask...I've never run a skid steer with tracs. Do you only find them better on slopes like the one in the picture? Do they dig in the ground much?

those 864's are amazing machines.

Had a slope much like that one, maybe even worse to be honest, and the machine had no problem. The operator was able to go right up it, turn 90 degrees, and drive across it. I was amazed.

I did see it lift up a liittle on the up hill side every now and then though......that's why I have no problem subbing stuff like that out.......
