I have a 2010 bad boy outlaw 61 inch 31hp kawasaki with hydrogear 5400 transaxles. I need to know if there is any service manuals I can get or if I just follow the info contained in the zt 2800 service manual. Except of course using the internal filters. Approaching 50 hours at a rapid pace.:dizzy:

I have a 2010........Approaching 50 hours at a rapid pace.

Sooo..... What is it you want to do at 50 hrs. ?

Most all hydro systems are good (no oil/filter change) for 500 hrs.

Gander at your owner's manual regarding this, I can't believe they'd want you to change internal filters at 50 hrs......

Page 9 outlaw owners manual:
On all Bad Boy commercial models, the hydraulic oil and filters need to be initially changed when mower has reached 50 hours of usage. Each subsequent changing of the hydraulic oil and filters needs to occur 500 hours or once a year. The required hydraulic oil is 20w50 motor oil.
This is taken from my 2010 outlaw owners manual. Most tractors like farmers use also recommend a 50 hour hydraulic service, gear box service, and oil change on a new tractor.

Look on the transaxle for a white decal, Post all the numbers off this decal....

Interesting that they dont just use the same set up as the 2800 and 3100.
