I have praised Hustler's customer service many times in different forums. I just had a recent experience with a component build for Hustler by an outside manufacturing source. This component is well outside Hustler's excellent warranty yet they took control and handled the situation as all companies should, but do not. They realized this was a problem that should not happen and took responsibility for failure of the component. This was a situation where Hustler did not really need to accept responsibility and could have easily passed the buck, but chose to go beyond the call of duty.
You must stop and think, a company many times will not take responsibility for failure of outside vendors specialized parts. They will refer you to the vendor themselves, for instance, if there is a problem with an engine, you always deal directly with the engine manufacture. I have no problem with this to a point, but I am also of the thought process if I buy a piece of equipment from a company I want to deal with them not every outside vendor the company hires.
The large manufacture always has more leverage over an outside vendor due to a larger volume of business supplied to the vendors company, whereas a vendor much of the time will try and talk their way around a customer when dealing direct.
I've always had the highest praise for Hustler's customer service, I've never dealt with any company more dedicated to their customer, this comes entirely from my personal experience.
