Anyone have any info on this brand. Made by the same company that makes hustler and they do look similar.

Looks like a total rip off of Badboy mowers. I'd steer clear as they're obviously trying to make a buck off the Badboy brand which has mixed reviews.

Naw! That don't look nothing like a Bad Boy! Looks like a red Hustler to me.

They are mfg by Excel Industries which also makes Hustler. Do a search, they are identical with a few cheaper components to bring down the price point.

I really like the Hustlers over the Bad Boys, and the copies or rebadges look alright. I would love to get on one, just don't like the bad boys very much. They both have stupid names, but if I had to pick from the two, I'd roll the dice on the Big Dog!! But of course, that is my opinion, not fact that that one would be better.

You really need to demo them. I almost went with a Hustler Super Z but once I demo'd the BB I was sold. I agree the name is silly but last time I checked the name doesn't cut the grass. :clapping:

I agree, and have not cut on a Bad Boy, just checked them over! I know there are no dealers near me, but see that a lot of people like them!! Best to DEMO and see for yourself!!

Oh I did. I got the Bad Boy Pup. Hustler is not real popular in my part of the South. I wouldn't say Bay Boy is. I see more Exmarks ride by then any thing else. John Deere is second. Had a Hustler or 2 dealer close by. They only had the Fastrack in stock. Not a bad rig by any means. Not the Super Z thou. But for the price and quality of cut, the Bad Boy fit me.

Great mower. I put mine thru hell, and it keeps on mowing. Mixed reviews? Just people who can't stand the fact Bad Boy has come from nowhere and done very well. Lot of mower for the money.

That's what I'm looking at. People that have never looked at a Bad Boy seem to reply unfavorably about them. Beats me? But then again not every mow fits everyone. That's good. Keeps the mower companies in business!:cool2:

Can't go wrong with a JD Z900. Great dealer and parts network and is the best mower to date.
