A muffler for a 30hp Yanmar 3 cyl is $280.!!! and this muffler is nothing special, looks like any other muffler, Hell, you can get a muffler for a Ferrari for less than that I bet?? It would be cheaper to hire a fabricator to build a custom muffler! Where do they get the balls to charge what they do for some of these parts? They are ripping people off left and right on commercial mower parts, I bet they paid no more than $40. for that muffler from their supplier? I would turn their asses in for price gouging!

Bad boy sells the 23hp vanguard exhaust for $129.99, and the 30hp Kohler muffler is the same price too I believe. You might call make sure it will fit, and then go to your local BB dealer, or just order from the factory directly and have it shipped to your house. To my naked eye the vanguard, kohler, and kawasaki look the same, but I will do some measuring for you when I get to the shop this morning so you can measure yours. Alot of the other mower owners buy parts from us because they are so much cheaper. Good example, a deck anti scap roller wheel is $26 at the John Deere house, here the same roller wheel is $9.99. The parker pumps for the Gravely or Kubota at the kubota house are $800, here they are $489, and a clutch is $300 at alot of places and $189 here (they charge $450 for the clutch and to put it on, it takes 10 minutes!!).

Years ago my Dad replaced one on his Wheel Horse tractor with a cheap chrome plated glass pack from JC Whitney! Sounded great too!

You want cheap try giving yourself time, like weeks, or months.

Try JThomas. I just bought one for a 25 Kohler efi for around 100 bucks, I thought. It may have been Texas Mower Parts, though. I don't know,...I order stuff through both of them.

Take it to a muffler shop. Have them slap one on that fits.

You'd be surprised what a good muffler guy can do.

These dealers and mfr places think every landscaper makes $100K a year. They also got us by the bazz because they know we need it and that it's either we spend the $150 on the muffler or loose $300-$900 for the day on lawns.
