I got the seat installed today on my eXmark LAS28KA524. It bolted right up to the original bolt holes perfectly. There's no issue with the seat operator presence switch since that's built into the seat frame that stayed on the mower after the original seat was removed. It's just a plunger switch that is below the seat frame.

I had to sort of make the seat belt work. I installed it in holes that probably weren't intended for a seat belt on the new seat, but it works fine so I can continue to use the ROPS.

First impressions are it's very comfortable and smooths out the ride so much better than the original non-suspension seat. I'll get some seat time in it later today and give an update on how well it does on my bumpy ground.

Enjoy!

Some observations after an hour or so of use....

- a lot more comfortable, as expected. Smooth ride.
- Seat cushion is not as thick as you'd think and not as stiff as the eXmark cushion. Not as necessary since it's a suspension seat, but I think they should still use a little stiffer cushion because I think that would least longer.
- Seat covering is more pliable and less thick than the eXmark seat. If you have a lot of rough users of your mowers, this may be a problem. I think the seat could get ripped a lot easier than the eXmark seat covering. Not a problem for me since I'm the only one using it and I'm not too rough.

Overall I'm very happy with it. Definitely worth the $319. Now I need to put my old seat on ebay :)

Great picture, and short review. I'd love to get one of those seats. But I don't think the wife would go for it. But Hey! You got that one past yours! :) How did you do it?

Could you do me a favor and measure the distance between the mounting bolts. I want to see how close it will be to mine. Thank you!

I measured from the center of the mounting studs...

11 1/4 inches side to side

11 1/16th front to back
