View Full Version : Preventing side discharge into mulch beds?

How can i prevent side discharging into mulch beds and mulch around trees? if i cant prevent this then whats the easiest way to get the clippings out? any help is appreciated

Dont point the chute that way.... fairly simple usually, or look into an ocdc.

Install an OCDC.

I use my 21" mower on many lawns with obstacles such as you mention, and I use either the bag or mulch function. If I'm using my bigger mowers, however, I'll either point the chute the other way, or use my Grasspacker catcher. It's much easier to think ahead and keep clippings out, than to blow clippings in and then try to get them back out afterwards, as most mulch will blow right out if you try to use your blower to get the clippings.

Maybe consider using your small mower close to these obstacles?
